​Daniel Theobald is a visionary leader in robotics, AI, and automation, with decades of experience at the forefront of innovation. He has issued 67 patents and has over 30 patents pending, reflecting his significant contributions to robotics, AI, and automation. With a perfect academic record at MIT, he was awarded the prestigious Henry Ford II Scholar award and chosen as both an NSF and Hertz Foundation Fellow. Daniel founded Vecna.com in 1998, co-founded MassRobotics.org, and in 2018, launched VecnaRobotics.com. In 2024, he seed-funded Rotate8.com, a farm robotics company building affordable, multi-purpose solar-powered robots for farmers. Daniel also leads sustainable agriculture initiatives through TwistedFields.com. He does significant pro-bono work, helping VC firms with technical due diligence and mentoring founders and startups.

Dr. Hou is an internationally renowned expert in autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision. He earned his Ph.D. in Computation and Neural Systems from the California Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Xiaodi has been instrumental in advancing autonomous driving technology for the commercial trucking industry, with a focus on creating systems that can handle the unique challenges of operating large commercial vehicles.
